Customer Service Staff

The Otsego County Commission on Aging (OCCOA) employs a customer service coordinator to assist those who call the agency or drop by the main office with questions or concerns.  She is prepared to answer all kinds of questions and provide direction and assistance for older adults, family caregivers, and people with disabilities in need.  This department fields over 100 phone calls and client visits to the office window every day!

OCCOA offers qualifying adults homemaking services, personal care services, adult day services, daily reassurance phone calls, rides to medical appointments, home-delivered meals, advocacy, and respite care services.  Many social and educational activities, as well as support groups and volunteer opportunities, are also offered by the agency.  The customer service department is responsible for providing information about these services, activities and programs, as well as enrolling people for them.  Whatever the concern, the customer service department has been trained to help those who are in need, or provide referrals for services the agency does not offer.

Are you an older adult (60 or older) who is new to Otsego County or OCCOA-sponsored programs, activities, or services?

If so, the OCCOA Customer Service Department invites you to stop by the office to receive your OCCOA key card. Your key card is a quick and accurate way to sign up for OCCOA-sponsored programs, activities, and services. When you're here, be sure to ask about the many programs, activities, and services being offered by the agency.
